Step into the LOUÉ atelier

LOUÉ bags are crafted in Ubrique, a small town in Andalucía with a centuries-deep heritage in leatherwork. They say 80% of the population works in the craft—it sounds like an exaggeration, but when you’re there, it feels true. The rhythm of making is in the air.

We’re proud to partner with Monam, an intimate atelier composed of just two artisans: Víctor, the founder and head artisan, and Ana, a seamstress with a lifetime of skill in her hands. Every LOUÉ piece passes through their hands—start to finish.

Víctor originally trained as an industrial designer, which may be why the space feels more like a quiet studio than a factory. He later fell in love with leather and retrained as a craftsman, refining his technique at some of Europe’s most prestigious houses.

As demand grew, he brought in Ana—a lifelong seamstress and his right hand. Together, they’ve found a rhythm that prioritises quality over quantity. They don’t plan to grow much—just enough to meet demand, while staying close to the work, close to the materials, and close to the meaning behind it all.

Together, they craft each LOUÉ bag from start to finish. This rare, uninterrupted approach is what gives LOUÉ pieces their soul: you can feel the care, the continuity, the human touch in every detail.
