I purchased the Mano Pochette in regular black (without the white stitching) and it was such a joy to unbox! This bag was SO worth the wait! Wish I also ordered it in the cognac before it sold out. I am absolutely in love and this might be my new all time favorite bag.
I have other Mirum bags, but this is hands down the nicest one. The quality is just unreal - so beautifully constructed and thoughtfully designed. You can really see the care that went into it. Before I went vegan, I owned so many designer bags from many of the major brands. I stopped buying leather years ago and I have struggled to find good quality vegan handbags outside of Stella McCartney. Loue in my opinion is by far the only vegan handbag brand besides Stella that can truly compete with the major fashion houses when it comes to craftsmanship, quality, and aesthetics.
I've gotten so many compliments on this bag and it's only been a couple weeks. I can't wait to see the new colors when they become available.

I bought the Mano Pochette in the beautiful ‘cognac’ colour and I’ve been using it every day since it arrived. It’s the perfect size for my essentials, the stitching is flawless, and the colour is rich and elegant. I especially love the little top handle - it gives the bag a satchel-like charm and makes it feel fun to carry. The design is simple but full of character, and it goes with everything.
It’s rare to find a vegan handbag that doesn’t rely on plastic, but this one is made from Mirum - a plant-based material that looks and feels high-quality. The bag holds its shape beautifully and feels incredibly well made.
I first came across Loué Studio on TikTok, where Elena shared the story of how she set out to design a truly sustainable, leather-free handbag. She’s done something really special here, and it shows. I can’t wait to see where she takes Loué next.
I am so happy with my black Mano Pochette. I can't tell that is isn't leather, and based on my research on the vegan material it is made, of, which BMW uses for their vegan interiors, I know I can expect this vegan leather to be much more durable than regular leather. I also love the fact that this material can withstand the climate I live in, which tends to have more precipitation than average in the Fall and Winter seasons.
Because it is made of vegan leather, I have finally made a handbag purchase that I actually feel good about, as opposed to guilty, like I have felt for years purchasing leather bags. I love the fact that the vegan leather it is made of is completely plant-based, and not plastic or polyurethane-based. Although I plan to use this pochette for a very long time, I feel better knowing that it will not contribute to non-biodegradable waste in landfills.
In addition to all of the outstanding aspects of the plant-based leather this pochette is made of, the craftsmanship is impeccable. I have purchased many luxury bags in my lifetime, and I especially love Spanish craftsmanship, because all of the bags I have bought from Spain are made in highly-skilled, smaller workshops, by hand. These pochettes are no exception. The stitching is perfect, and all aspects of the pochette are just perfect. I love the lack of an inconvenient zipper and excessive hardware, because in my opinion, hardware makes a bag high-maintenance. Scratched hardware ages a bag, and makes it look worn out much sooner than it should be. I also feel that too much hardware can distract from the beautiful style, and craftsmanship of a bag, and in the case of the pochette, the style and design are so unique and lovely to be able to focus on. The removable crossbody strap make this pochette very versatile, and convenient, and it looks so elegant held by hand for dinner out, parties and formal events.
The closure is very convenient, and secure, even when the bag is full, I have shaken the bag upside down when full, and it stays very securely closed.
Another wonderful aspect of the Mano Pochette is that Elena is passionate about creating handbags that are responsibly-made, environmentally-friendly, sustainable, cruelty-free, and at the same time, highly durable. She dedicated a tremendous amount of time and work establishing this brand, designing, and locating the best workshops to craft these wonderful bags.
Her personal touch is evident when you receive your bag, from the handwritten note, to the perfectly folded tissue, beautiful box , lovely organic dust-bag, and the lovely bow. Receiving this was like opening a gift from someone who really put a tremendous amount of thought not only in designing and creating the bag, but also in all of the aspects mentioned above.
I am so happy I was able to be an early supporter for this beautiful brand of handbags (I purchased both black and cognac pochettes), and I look forward to Elena's future creations, as there is certainly a need for a full line of bags, totes, etc. crafted from this outstanding plant-based leather, with the outstanding handmade craftsmanship of Loue Studio handbags.
This is a beautifully designed and crafted bag. The smooth softness of the mirium feels just like leather. The size is perfect for everyday use. I’m in love!

This bag was absolutely worth the wait! Everything about it so well made and carefully thought out, from the choice of materials to the stitching and design. It’s elegant but still perfect for everyday wear. I’ve been carrying it daily since it arrived, and I honestly can’t put it down.
